3) All Carbs are Bad

There are good carbs and bad carbs. Processed carbs are bad because they usually contain high amounts of sugar and white flour. Good carbs can be found in whole grains, beans, vegetables, and fruits.

4) Some Foods Help You Burn Calories

It is true that certain foods can boost your metabolism rate and help you lose calories, but the results are insignificant. Try weight lifting instead.

5) If You Follow the Same Diet and Exercise Plans, You Will Not Gain Weight

As you age, your metabolism rate will slow down, and you will gain weight more easily. You may have to eat less and exercise more to maintain a healthy weight.
